Stark DD Special Olympics is a 501c3 organization under the umbrella of Special Olympics Ohio.  All funds donated and raised for Stark DD Special Olympics stay to provide for local programs and athletes. 

Separate from the Special Olympics organization is the Special Olympic Booster Club, a non-profit organization that exists to provide financial support and assistance for activities of the Stark County Board of DD Special Olympics Program.  Meetings are held the first Monday of each month from 5:30 – 6:30 pm during the year in the Lunch room at Whipple Dale Center. Proceeds from booster club fundraising events and donations benefit the Special Olympians of Stark DD Special Olympics.
